ECONOMIC CLASSES

Immigration and refugee protection act provides instructions for processing application submitted under economic classes, for which applicants are selected on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada. Majority of immigrants move to Canada under the economic immigration programs. We may divide these programs into the following categories:

• Federal Skilled Workers (FSW)
• Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• Federal Skilled Trades (FST)
• Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
• Self-Employed Persons Class
• Start-Up Business Class
• Caregiver Classes
